Long-Term Rentals in The Villages with a Golf Cart Included

On a week’s holiday a golf cart is a nice extra. On a three-month stay it is your car. Over 90 miles of dedicated cart paths connect the neighbourhoods to the town squares, the recreation centers, the golf courses and the shopping plazas — on a long stay most of your daily running about happens on a path rather than a road.

Renting a cart on its own runs about $450–$600 a month for a two-seater, and it has to be booked, delivered and collected around your dates. Across a three-month winter that is roughly $1,350–$1,800 before you have driven anywhere — and most of our carts are four-seaters, which hire for more. On these homes the cart comes with the property, and the only cart charge is $20 of insurance for the stay — for the stay, not per month.

The accommodation price moves with length too. Anything from 28 nights up is priced as a monthly stay rather than a nightly one, and it lands well below the nightly equivalent. For reference, our observed nightly rates for a three-bedroom sleeping six run $77–$90 from May to October, $140–$159 in November, December and April, and $273–$279 through January to March. A month is not those figures multiplied out — send us the dates and we will price it properly.

The rest of the house is set up for living rather than visiting. Every home we manage is furnished and equipped: of the 29 on this page, 28 list a kitchen, air conditioning and internet, and 27 list a washing machine and dryer with linens and towels provided. Check-in is 4pm on a keypad — no lockbox and no key handover — and there is someone local to call when something breaks, which over several months is the part guests end up valuing most.

Carts vary by home. Some are two-seaters and some are four, some gas and some electric, and on a long stay that difference is worth getting right rather than discovering. Tell us your dates and we will confirm the specific cart at that address before you book. The same goes for the home itself — each card shows the road drive time to its nearest town square, and cart-path routes are not the same as road routes.

The fees, before checkout shows them to you: cleaning is charged once per stay rather than per month ($160 on most of the homes, $140–$150 on a few), $20 golf-cart insurance where a cart is included, and $50 per Lifestyle ID request form if you want the pools, recreation centers, pickleball and golf. There is no deposit — we do not take them.

Where a cart is included there is a $20 insurance charge for the stay and a short liability waiver to sign — the access code is emailed to you automatically once it is done.
